Yin/Nidra Yoga
Sunday 4:30-6:00 PM
Yin is a slow paced style of yoga with poses that are held for longer periods of time. This class aims to improve your flexibility, while bringing calming energy into your body.
The final 20 minutes of class is yoga Nidra.
Please bring your yoga mat and any available props.

This class will focus on strength and stability, while moving with your breath.

Melissa believes that Yoga is for Everybody, and that you can begin Anywhere. She has attended several silent meditation retreats, and credits yoga and meditation to bringing profound transformation to her life. She brings wisdom, insight, and nurturing energy into her energetic sequences.

Melissa is a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT-500). She completed her 200-hour YTT at Wicked Good Yoga with Melanie Burns in 2015, followed by her 300-hour YTT with Jacqui Bonwell in 2021. She has certifications in Trauma Informed Yoga, Balanced Athlete, Yin, and Clinically Informed Restorative yoga. She lives in Wiscasset Maine with her husband and two children
